A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients based in Essex. They have been leading the way in architectural design and measured surveys & BIM modeling across Essex, London & the UK. From individuals and contractors to local businesses, global retailers & multinational corporations. This established & vibrant BIM modeling company uses the latest, in scanning technology combined with CAD drawing to deliver bespoke construction packages to a variety of clients as a Revit Technician.
Due to a large influx of projects and expansion, my client is now looking for a Revit Technician to join their team. Your role will be to produce 2D and 3D BIM-ready models from point cloud data to meet client requirements.
Responsibility & Duties
- To produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM-ready models from point cloud data measured by our experienced team of in-house surveyors to a high quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with external modelling suppliers to ensure project efficiency and best practices.
- Ensure BIM projects meet client expectations and company standard as a Revit Technician
- Prepare BIM models/content for coordination meetings.
- Follow BIM execution plans and workflow criteria as a Revit Technician
Experience & Qualification
- Experience in technical detailing, construction detailing, and coordinating packages
- Experience within commercial fit-out or retail interiors would be highly beneficial
- Knowledge of Revit essential and 2D / 3D AutoCAD / Navisworks advantageous
- Desirable – experience working on Large BIM Level 2 projects as a Revit Technician
- Experience in CAD drawing from Point Clouds working from surveying data bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- Portfolio of work examples
- Full UK Driving license
- Full Eligibility Right to work in the UK
