A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our well established surveying practices in Leicestershire. Our client provide specialist surveying services across several key sectors and do work for Architects, Landscape Designers and Planners. Their main services include Measured Building Surveys, Topographic and Land Surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, Measured Elevation Surveys, GPS Surveying, Hidden Utility and Flood Risk Assessment Surveys.
Due to a large workload they are now looking for an experienced topographical land surveyor or measured building surveyor to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience surveying their own sites & have a full UK driving license commutable distance from their office. This role would suit a ambitious graduate with 1 – 3 years industry experience or someone on the more experienced side with UK experience.
Responsibility & Duties
- Carrying out Land and Measured Building surveys
- Post-processing work
- Assisting in the resolution of any issues
- Full Building Elevation Surveys
- Produce topographical surveys and monitor and setting out surveys
- Daily use of AutoCAD
- Site Visits
Experience & Qualification
- 1 – 5 + Years’ experience delivering land surveys essential
- Competent user of survey instrumentation – GPS, Total Stations, Leica, 3D scanner
- Competent user & understanding of 2D / 3D AutoCAD
- (MBS) Measured Building or topographical Surveys would be an advantage
- Civils, Construction or Surveying background ideal
- Must hold a UK Driving License
- The ability to use LSS for processing desirable
- Post registration for laser scanning, Cyclone Core, Register 360 desirable
